Adult ADHD Treatment in Columbus, Ohio

Treatment for ADHD, and everything it touches.

Adult ADHD rarely shows up alone. I help you make sense of it and build a life that works with your brain, not against it.

Recognition

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • You’re unhappy at work, but you haven’t made a single move.
  • You talk yourself out of asking someone out, every time.
  • Procrastination runs everything, and the stress never lets up.
  • You know something is off, but you’re not sure what.
  • You miss the forest for the trees, and it shows up in your relationships, routines, and time management.
  • A big change, like kids, a new job, or a divorce, has made it all harder.

If so, ADHD may be part of the story, even if no one has ever said so.

Approach

How treatment works.

Understanding first

We start by making sense of your diagnosis, and what it does and doesn’t explain. Part of the work is accepting what won’t change.

Strategies that fit

Most adults diagnosed late have spent years piecing together coping strategies. We build ones that fit your life, and change them when they stop working.

Measured progress

We set goals you can check off, like “one load of laundry every day this week,” and track progress with screeners and assessments.

Straight answers

I’ll tell you if ADHD isn’t the right explanation. If you already have an assessment, I’ll read it and tell you whether it holds up. And if medication would help, I’ll say so. Paired with therapy, it’s the gold standard for ADHD.

The connected picture

ADHD rarely travels alone.

Anxiety, depression, OCD, shame, career stress, and trouble regulating emotions often come with it. I treat them as one connected picture, not separate problems.

Working together

What to expect.

More about me
  1. Step 1

    Free consultation call

15 minutes, no commitment. We talk about what’s going on and whether I’m the right fit.

  2. Step 2

    Intake evaluation

A 60-minute session to get the full picture and agree on what we’re working toward.

  3. Step 3

    Therapy sessions

45 or 60 minutes, built around goals you can measure. The aim is for you to leave with tools that are actually yours.

What we work toward.

  • Understanding why things have been so hard.
  • Routines and tools that work in real life.
  • Less shame about how your brain works.
  • A clear sense of what changing your life takes, so you can keep doing it without me.

Not sure it’s ADHD? Or not sure I’m the right fit?

That’s fine. I’ll tell you honestly if ADHD isn’t the right explanation, and point you toward what is. If testing wouldn’t be worth your time and money, I’ll say that too.
