Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 28, 2026

Change Point Psychology LLC (“I,” “my,” or “the practice”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit my website, https://changepointpsych.com (the “Site”). By using this Site, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through this website. It does not apply to information collected offline, during therapy sessions, or through any secure client portal, telehealth platform, or electronic health record system. If you become a therapy client, you will receive separate documents governing the privacy of your mental health information.

1. Information I Collect

I may collect the following types of information when you visit or interact with the Site:

A. Information You Voluntarily Provide

This includes information you choose to send by email, such as:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Any message or information you include in your email

If you complete the New Client Interest Form, you submit your information through a secure form hosted by Jotform, not through this Site. That information goes to my practice, is handled under my clinical privacy practices and HIPAA, and is not collected or stored by this website.

Important: The Site is not intended for sharing Protected Health Information (PHI). Please avoid including sensitive medical or clinical details in email, and keep in mind that standard email is not a secure way to send private information. If you are a prospective client, the secure New Client Interest Form is the right place to share details. PHI shared during therapy is protected separately under HIPAA.

B. Automatically Collected Information

When you visit the Site, certain technical information is processed automatically by the services that deliver it, such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser type
  • Device type
  • Pages requested and referring URLs
  • Date and time of the request

This information is used to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and keep it working properly.

2. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

This Site does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics tools. If I add any in the future, I will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.

To display the Site’s typefaces, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and basic browser information when you visit. You can read Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

3. How I Use Your Information

I may use the information collected through this Site to:

  • Respond to inquiries and requests for a consultation call
  • Provide information about my services
  • Maintain website security and performance
  • Comply with legal obligations

I do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. How I Protect Your Information

I take reasonable administrative and technical measures to safeguard the information submitted through the Site. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

This website is not intended for sharing Protected Health Information (PHI). PHI shared in the context of therapy is handled separately and securely in accordance with HIPAA regulations through my clinical systems and procedures.

5. Third-Party Disclosure

I do not sell or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. However, I use third-party service providers to help operate the Site, including:

  • Website hosting and delivery (Cloudflare)
  • Typeface delivery (Google Fonts)
  • Email services used to receive messages sent to the address listed on the Site
  • Secure hosting of the New Client Interest Form (Jotform), which is separate from this website

These providers receive information only as necessary to perform their services.

6. External Links

This Site contains links to third-party websites, such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) No Surprises Act website. I am not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of those sites. (The New Client Interest Form, described above, is my practice’s own secure intake form and is not one of them.) Please review their privacy policies before providing any information.

7. Children’s Privacy

This Site is not intended for children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If I learn that a child has submitted information, I will delete it promptly.

8. State-Specific Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • The right to request access to the data I store
  • The right to request corrections
  • The right to request deletion
  • The right to opt out of certain types of data collection

To exercise these rights, please contact me using the information below.

9. HIPAA Notice

This Privacy Policy governs only the information collected through this public website. If you become a therapy client, you will receive a separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices that explains how your Protected Health Information (PHI) is handled under federal law.

10. Contact Me

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to request changes to your information, please reach out through my Contact page.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Site means you accept any changes.
